Gary McKinnon trial starts
June 17th saw the start of Gary McKinnon's appeal against being extradited to the U.S following the 2002 conviction under the computer misuse act.
McKinnon is accused of hacking into 97 US military and NASA computers between 2001-2002 causeing $700'000 worth of damage.
If extradited to the U.S he faces up to 70 years in prison and the possibility of serving that time in Guantanamo bay.

My son told me yesterday that a boy got 40 years for

I am sure i heard this on the radio the other day hun, it was early morning so i might of been dreaming.. but i am pretty sure that a boy gave himself false grades....
