Convicted killer's death sentence upheld
The state Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the death sentence of a man convicted of killing a bank teller during a robbery in Tulsa.
The court voted 5-0 Wednesday to uphold the sentence for Jeremy Williams who was convicted of killing Amber Rogers while robbing First Fidelity Bank in June 2004.
The bank president and a customer were wounded in the shooting.
Co-defendant Alvin Jordan is serving life without parole after pleading guilty to murder in the case.
